It's no surprise that spooky season and election season overlap—there's nothing more terrifying than the thought of Republicans winning elections in Brooklyn.

But if we don't take action to support Democratic candidates now, the next few weeks could be scarier than any horror movie.

Join BYD and our friends ([link removed]) on Saturday at 11:00am for a Get-Out-the-Vote Spooktacular in support of Assembly Member Mathylde Frontus and Congressional candidate Max Rose.

Both candidates are running against scary right-wing Republican opponents who offer a fear-based vision for the future, and are willing to put our rights and freedoms at risk.

We'll knock on doors to warn voters about Republican tricks, and the treats that Mathylde and Max have to offer: a positive vision for safer, fairer, stronger communities across Brooklyn.
