Today, I had the privilege of joining Beto O’Rourke – my former colleague, a good friend, and the next governor of the great state of Texas in Tarrant County to get-out-the-vote. I’ve known Beto since we came into Congress together and I can tell you that he will fight for all Texans.

Unlike the corrupt Republican Governor Greg Abbott, Beto will help working families, preserve our essential freedoms, expand affordable health care, and help protect our democracy. And I can tell you he will stand up for what is right – not fall into line with corrupt Donald Trump – as Abbott has done time and time again.

That is why I have joined Beto on the campaign trail, and why I am urging you to vote early. We deserve a brighter future for Texas.
