Message from Rep. Tracey Mann. Having Trouble Viewing? Click Here. Fellow Kansan, Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter! I’m excited to update you on my work in Washington, D.C., and in the First District of Kansas. Please feel free to share this email with family and friends who may be interested. As always, if you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please contact my office - my staff and I are here and ready to assist you. Yours in service,   Mann.House.Gov House Republicans' Commitment to America An Economy that's Strong Due to the reckless spending of the Biden Administration and Washington Democrats, inflation has skyrocketed to the highest rate in over 40 years. The rising costs for everyday items like gas and groceries are forcing families to stretch their paychecks to make ends meet. Input costs for agricultural producers are also through the roof. After more than a year of this crushing inflation, Washington Democrats still have no plan to solve the problem. When Republicans earn back to the House, we are committed to: Curbing wasteful government spending which is fueling the inflation crisis. Strengthening the supply chain. Restoring America’s energy independence. Cutting burdensome regulations that are hamstringing small businesses. This is our Commitment to America. Listen to my full message below. Learn more about the Commitment to America Policy Plan here.   Mann.House.Gov In the District Mann Listening Tour: Gove County and Trego County One of my top priorities each year is to host a town hall meeting in every county in the district, which is why I'm excited to host two Mann Listening Tour meetings this Friday in Gove and Trego County. The National FFA Organization's mission is to grow the next generation of leaders and equip them with lifelong skills that will serve them well in the future. During the annual convention, students from across the country will come together to learn and grow from each other. As a former Kansas FFA member and chapter officer, I know the positive outcomes that can come from these experiences. Ensuring that the next generation is prepared to grow leaders, build communities, and strengthen food and agriculture is paramount, which is why I’m proud to be the Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the Congressional FFA Caucus. My colleagues and I are committed to strengthening relationships between Congress and agricultural education teachers, FFA members, and other leaders in food and agriculture. I’ve had the privilege of meeting current Kansas FFA members and hearing their comments and thoughts about the future of agriculture and in advance of the 2023 Farm Bill. With motivated and passionate students like them, I know the future of agriculture is in good hands. Good luck to the Kansas FFA members participating in the events and competitions this week! I know you will represent Kansas well. Learn more about the 2022 National FFA Convention & Expo here. Rep. Mann with 2022-2023 Kansas FFA members during a Congressional visit in Washington, D.C.
