Pat Condon initially refused to charge a sexual assault because of marijuana use.

Friends,

Pat Condon initially refused to charge an alleged sexual assault because the victim admitted to his office to using marijuana on a completely unrelated occasion.

It was only after the victim and her father threatened to go to the media that he agreed to do his job and charge the crime. Even then, they were told if they did go through with a media interview, he absolutely would not charge.

Take a moment to hear James Kirkpatrick's story from his perspective as a father. ([link removed]) Please be advised that this video discusses sexual assault.
