help get out the youth vote before the crucial midterm elections.

Re-electing progressives like Representative Katie Porter to Congress and
Karen Bass for Los Angeles Mayor is crucial to maintain our majority in
Congress and be able to pass policies that support working people — from
capping insulin prices at $35/month for those on Medicare, to expanding
the Child Tax Credit. And young people could tip the
balance.

Alexandria is working around the clock to not only win her own race, but
also to support our allies across the country by mobilizing young voters.

Turnout among 18 to 24-year olds nearly doubled between the 2014 and 2018
midterm cycles, and now we need to keep this momentum for 2022.^1 This
high turnout must continue in order for Democrats to keep control of
Congress and to win state races around the country where reproductive
freedom, climate, and justice are on the ballot.
