First and foremost, I want to thank you for being a part of this campaign—I mean it when I say that we can’t win this thing without you.

But, folks, I’m coming to you with a bit of bad news: we missed our critical fundraising goal yesterday.

I won’t lie, this one stings. Missing any goal at this point before Election Day really put us in a vulnerable position heading into the final few weeks of this race.

If we’re going to overcome the GOP’s $40 million and defeat JD and his ultra-rich backers, we cannot afford to fall short. Our window is closing, but there’s still time to overcome our fundraising deficit. Can you help me out by chipping in $25 to my team and Blue South ASAP?

National Republicans are pouring tens of millions of dollars into Ohio, trying to buy this Senate seat so that they can keep lining their pockets. They don’t give a damn about working families.

This race can go one of two ways: either we lose and hand over the Senate majority to McConnell, or we flip this seat, expand our majority, and finally pass some legislation.

That all depends on you, John.
