Girls For A Change (GFAC) is inviting you to a night of community and learning about the work that goes into “preparing Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls”. Join us for behind the scenes look at our upcoming year and what we have accomplished so far. You will also get a chance to see how you can fit in to what we do here at Girls For A Change.
We are also excited to share with the Board our designs for the new expanded GFAC branch. With an emphasis on safe and self-determined spaces, the new building will allow for significant programmatic expansion for our important work. State-of-the-art facilities will enhance a broad range of our programmatic offerings, from health and wellness to bridging the digital divide. Our new space unapologetically claims Black girl identity.
As a Board along with guests of our community, our call to action this year for our Board asks our members to infuse their personal networks with excitement to support our ambitious efforts to build safe spaces for Black girls in the Greater Richmond Metropolitan area. Each of us has unique resources to marshal towards our efforts. We will offer guidance and an agenda for action to equip our Board with the very best tools to undertake their leadership with measured successes.
