Every day, North Carolinians wake up to at least $450,000 of attack ads from Republican super PACs.

I knew I’d be bombarded with lies and smears, and I know it’s tough to take. Every time I see one it motivates me to fight even harder. It’s a reminder of what is so broken about our politics, and why we so desperately need new leadership in Washington — not another insider like my opponent Ted Budd.

Now look, I’m not going to let the attacks go unanswered. You deserve a Senator who isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with corporate special interests to stand up for truth and justice, and we are proving every day that we know how to fight hard. It’s why this race is still deadlocked — despite all this outside spending.

But now is not a moment where we can afford to slow down. I know you probably didn’t expect to make a donation to our campaign when you woke up today, but we really need your support if we want to flip this Senate seat.

So if you can afford it, please donate anything you can afford to our campaign to flip North Carolina’s U.S. Senate seat today. It’d really mean a lot to me.
