Josh Stein for Attorney General

Hey there, team — I’m coming to you directly to explain why it’s so important that you get involved in Jeff Jackson’s race for North Carolina’s 14th District today.

North Carolina is a critical battleground state. The people we elect to Congress will have the power to help shape the future of our state and country – the power to protect reproductive rights, defend democracy, help working families get ahead, and tackle the big fights facing North Carolinians.

That’s why we have to elect Jeff Jackson to represent NC-14 and help protect our razor-thin Democratic majority in the U.S. House.

Jeff and I served together in the state Senate. I’ve seen Jeff’s work up close, and I can tell you firsthand that he’s incredibly transparent, accessible, and candid. He helped lead the fight against gerrymandering, supported investments in early childhood education, repeatedly called for raising teacher pay and expanding Medicaid, passed reforms for our criminal justice system, and called out corruption when he saw it.

After eight years in the state Senate representing Mecklenburg, three years as an Assistant District Attorney in Gaston County, and more than 20 years of military service, Jeff knows what it means to serve others.

He’s now running to bring that record of service and transparency to Congress. But first he needs to win – and with his Republican opponent attacking him all over TV, he needs our help.

This is a consequential race, folks — from defending the future of our democracy to securing fundamental rights, Jeff will have the power to help us continue moving North Carolina forward if he wins.

That’s why I’m asking you today to get off the sidelines. Keeping North Carolina blue during this midterm year is a team effort — and I need you in this fight with us in the final two weeks of this race. Will you split a donation between our campaign and Jeff’s to build a better future for our state?
