It’s time to request and submit your absentee ballot!

Friend,

If you can’t vote in person during this upcoming election, time is running out to request and submit your absentee ballot!

Early voting begins Saturday, October 29th and Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th for Election Day, but the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail or online is Monday, October 24th.

How do I apply for an absentee ballot?

Applying for an absentee ballot online is easy! Visit the Absentee Ballot Application here and fill out the request form by Monday, October 24th. You can also apply for an absentee ballot in person up until November 7th.

How do I submit my absentee ballot?

Once you’ve received, filled out, and sealed your ballot, you have plenty of options to choose from! You can return it via mail or by dropping your ballot in a secure ballot box at your local board office, early voting site, or election day poll site. No matter what you choose, remember to return your ballot by November 8th.

Why is it important to vote in the General Election?

Between securing a record-breaking $1.2B for CUNY this past year alone; turning on our City’s speed cameras 24/7 for the first time ever; passing landmark legislation to end workplace harassment, and more, we’ve made a great deal of progress together over the last few years. But there’s plenty more work to be done — and I can’t do it without your support. If we work together, we can continue making New York safer, fairer and more affordable - a New York where everyone has an opportunity to thrive.

Make your plan to vote today, whether you’ll be making your voice heard at the polls or by absentee ballot, and be sure to remind your friends and family to do the same by November 8th!

See you at the polls!

Andrew
