As I keep saying: for the pro-democracy coalition to win this year, two things have to happen. They double down on the crazy. We double down on the work. 

You know the work we’re doing here at The Lincoln Project. We’re supporting swing state Democrats, exposing ultra-MAGA candidates on the airwaves, and poking Trump’s fragile ego every chance we get.

Of course, the crazy is out there and a lot of the states with the craziest candidates are tightening. So that’s why we’re doubling down on our work. We’re hitting the airwaves, and we’re also hitting the streets with a grassroots pro-democracy project, The Union. 

Last week Union volunteers text banked with partner Field Team 6 in Nevada. In just 60 minutes, we texted 155K voters in NV., That’s 2000 voters per minute. And it was easy to do. Now, Nevada’s Senate race may decide the balance of power. The Governor, AG, and Secretary of State races are all close. We could go 4 for 4 in some of our most crucial races, and it’d be in part because of our grassroots work.  

The best way to turn a tight race into a solid victory is to get the truth out to more voters. We can win in every one of the places our coalition has identified as an existential battle for democracy.
