Hi,

I’m writing to you today about my sister-in-service, Cori Bush.

I've known Cori since 2017 when Justice Democrats recruited us both to run
against establishment incumbents. Neither of us imagined we'd ever run for
office, so we gravitated to each other from the very beginning.

We found solidarity organizing in our communities in St. Louis, The Bronx,
and Queens. I vividly remember Cori calling me after a vehicle struck her
arm, injuring her. Still, Cori persevered as we walked down the sidewalks
of St. Louis together, her arm around me as I held her upright—she was
determined to continue to knock every single door in her neighborhood to
let them know that they mattered and that they were loved.

And when I joined Congress in 2019 to nonstop attacks from Donald Trump,
Cori sent me uplifting notes of encouragement. Two years later, we were in
Congress together, legislating and organizing on behalf of people and
communities with the greatest need.

Cori and I have had each other's backs from the very beginning. But now,
Cori's counting on our people-powered movement to have hers.

The far-right has attacked Cori at every chance, and those attacks will
only increase as we get closer to Election Day. [ [link removed] ]If you're with Cori and
me in our mission to deliver transformative change, will you make a
donation today to power Cori's re-election campaign?

Cori is exactly the leader we need to represent St. Louis in Congress. In
her first months in office, we worked together to ensure local communities
are prioritized in our response to the climate crisis with the
introduction of the Green New Deal for Cities.

Then, when Congress adjourned last summer to go on vacation after failing
to extend the eviction moratorium, it was Cori and I standing there asking
what's next. Cori decided to take direct action by occupying the steps of
the Capitol. For five days and four nights, we galvanized hundreds of
activists, senators, and representatives to join us, successfully pushing
the Biden administration to take action by extending the eviction
moratorium. Cori’s power as a politi-vist, as an everyday person in
Congress who has been unhoused, helped keep 11 million people at risk of
eviction from being forced out onto the streets during a deadly pandemic.

Yet, at every turn, Cori has been demeaned, criticized, and attacked by
Fox News and the far-right media. They would like nothing more than for
her to lose her seat on November 8, but we won't let that happen.

Keeping Cori in Congress with me is absolutely critical to ensuring the
future of our progressive movement. Together, we will continue to work to
enact Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, abortion access protections, and
the anti-racist policies our communities need.

[ [link removed] ]Please, I'm asking: Will you chip in $5 or more today
to help keep my friend, Cori Bush, in Congress? Your contribution will
help Cori at a critical moment for her campaign.

Thank you in advance for giving anything you can.

Pa’lante,

— Alexandria
