A recent poll showed Evan leading far-right Senator Mike Lee by 1 point in the race to represent Utah in the U.S. Senate.

And since then, Mike Lee has started acting quite ... strange? And national publications like The Washington Post are taking notice.

FIRST: Mike Lee went on FOX News to complain to Tucker Carlson and Co. that Mitt Romney wouldn’t endorse him. Lee literally begged for Senator Romney’s endorsement on live TV.

THEN: When that didn’t work, Lee appeared to write a bizarre, third-person op-ed to The Salt Lake Tribune in which he endorsed ... himself? Only for his team to later say that the op-ed actually came from the campaign ... and not Mike Lee? It’s all very strange.

NOW: Mike Lee’s desperation is at an all-time high. So a trio of far-right super PACs flooded Utah with $3.5 MILLION in dark money to prop up Lee’s campaign, with more $$ on the way!

We’re not sure what Mike Lee is going to do or say next, but it’s clear he and his dark-money allies have seen the same poll numbers we have and they’re starting to get nervous!
