Support The National Demonstration, Support the Strikes
The Peoples Assembly’s plans for a mass National Demonstration on 5th November ([link removed]) are well underway.

The government is in a deep crisis and the 3rd Prime Minister in two years will be decided by a tiny elite. Our trade unions and social movements want to make this the biggest demonstration possible in solidarity with every striking worker and to demand a General Election NOW. We want working class people to join us on this day to demonstrate how angry and determined we are and to fight the new wave of austerity the government is forcing on us.

RMT ([link removed]) has published the dates of the next rail strikes, which include Saturday 5th November.

RMT and The Peoples Assembly have discussed the National Demonstration on the 5th November and we are working to make sure that the demonstration is as big as possible.

RMT’s Mick Lynch will address the People's Assembly National Demonstration in London and PA has written to RMT to ask their members to lead the march.

The People's Assembly is asking people not to use the rail network on Saturday 5 November or on other days when rail workers are on strike in solidarity and instead to travel to the national demonstration using other means of public transport. Please visit the Peoples Assembly website for a full list of coaches travelling to the demonstration and where you can express an interest in attending by coach.
