Look, I'll always be truthful with you. Here are the facts, something happened last week (*cough* Republicans finally polled the race and are freaking out) and they have massively increased their spending here AND shifted everything to full negative attacks trying to tear me down. Here's the TV buy schedule by week:
My opponent's ads are nothing but negative attacks because he has nothing else to campaign on. His abortion ban is unpopular, his history with a company selling opioids is unpopular, his anti-business track record is unpopular...
Still, $195,000 per week being spent demonizing me is a sledgehammer we cannot ignore. So, I'm coming to you to help close the gap.
Look, I want you to know, I get it. You don't have $195k to donate and what difference will $100 mean in the grand scheme of things? But at this point, literally every last dollar is helping us reach each remaining undecided voter, so it ALL helps.
Don't you want to wake up on Election Day knowing we gave it our all? Don't you want to know that we did EVERYTHING we could to win? That's why I'm asking for your help. We will not be able to compete 1:1 with his vile attacks, but we can and must do something.
