Folks – when you are running for office, a lot of things get said about you - some good, some bad, some true, some false, some funny, some not so much.

Some of the best advice I have gotten is to hold it all lightly, take none of it personally, and instead to keep the main thing the main thing: how much is at stake in this race for the people of Western NC.

It's never been more clear that our district is fired up for change. Western North Carolina has been ground zero for right-wing extremism for over a decade, and folks are tired of it.

That is what I’ve heard knocking doors for the past 18 months and it’s what I heard yesterday at the polls, as early voting started.

I’m ready to bring our community’s true values to Congress, but I’m still polling within a single-digit margin of my GOP opponent. Not to mention, this district is one of the most competitive in the country.

We need to be all in in these next 18 days. Will you chip in $25 or whatever you can today to help us win this race and flip NC-11 blue?

Your support means the world, and it helps me stay focused on what really matters. Thank you.
