My faith is what keeps me going. That and how fired up people in Western NC are right now. (Also caffeine – coffee and Mountain Dew Zero to get specific about it.)

My faith is a source of hope, perspective, and incredibly clear instructions – treat others with love, hope, and empathy.

But unlike my radical opponent who said “Christian conservatives are on the cusp of taking back our country,” I don’t believe in imposing my faith on others or weaponizing it to strip away our basic freedoms.

Let me be clear: I’m pro-choice, I believe in the freedom to love who you love, and when I get to Congress, I’ll fight to protect our rights.

Right now, I’m within a single-digit margin of my extremist Republican opponent. Even though his values don’t align with the majority of WNC’s, he’s got millions of dollars behind him to reach voters with his toxic brand of politics.

This race is winnable and you can feel the momentum growing. We felt it yesterday in Polk, Henderson, and Buncombe Counties as we were out knocking doors, and then at a rally in Brevard. People are out there doing the work it will take to flip this seat.

This campaign has always been about how we come together around our shared values – that’s how we win and it’s how we move forward together.

And I’ll be real with you right now, which is why when I say we need your help, I mean it. Will you chip in $25 or more today to help us deliver real leadership to NC-11?
