Team --

The New York Times published a new report on right-wing tactics for the midterms, and it’s terrifying. Here’s the latest on what we’re up against:

- Led by folks like Steve Bannon and Michael Flynn, far-right GOPers have enlisted their followers to join a “citizens’ detective agency” dedicated to disputing midterm election results.
- Bannon says they’re “100 times more prepared now” than during the efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
- He’s also told his millions of podcast listeners that Democrats will only win by stealing -- and that MAGA Republicans can prevent that by “taking over the election apparatus.” (!)

Both parties have always had volunteer poll watchers and workers to ensure a smooth process. This is not that. This is a coordinated attempt by extreme election deniers to intimidate voters and civic servants -- all in an effort to prevent results that they don’t like from being reported in the first place. And it’s happening now.

The best way to fight back is by building margins of victory that are simply too big to dispute.

Pitch in to The American SOS Project today to help turn out key battleground state voters and secure clear victories for our pro-democracy candidates:

We can’t stop conspiracy theorists from spouting off their lies and claiming fraud when there is none -- but if we’ve got enough resources, we can do our best to deliver irrefutable wins for Democrats.

Thank you for chipping in -- we need all hands on deck for the next 19 days.

Talk soon.

Amy
