John,

Centene is a corporation accused of ripping off taxpayers and inflating drug prices. They've had to pay out nearly half a billion dollars in settlements with 13 states, and they're working on additional settlements with 9 more states — including Georgia. Yet Chris Carr continues to cozy up to this company.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported this week that Carr took nearly $75,000 in campaign contributions from Centene this year alone. I called him out for this in our debate, and Carr tried to claim that there is no conflict of interest.

I know that viewers saw right through Carr's lies. They're ready for an Attorney General who isn't compromised by special interests. Can you help us continue to expose Carr's failed record and donate $10 or more right now?

It should go without saying: if you're the Attorney General, and your state has a pending legal settlement with a company, you should not be taking that company's money.

But Chris Carr thinks ethics don't apply to him. He thought it would be fine to fly out to St. Louis for a fundraiser at a baseball game with Centene executives — the very people who were defrauding his own constituents.

It's clear that Carr cares more about his corporate donors than the people he was elected to serve. Georgians deserve better, and in 19 days, we can give them new, honest leadership.

You can be sure that I will never ask for money from companies that exploit hard-working Georgians, and that I'll be relentless in holding those companies accountable.

Please pitch in $10 today so I can make my case to voters in the final stretch of this campaign. The need for change in the Attorney General's office has never been more clear.

Thank you,

Jen

Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
