As State Treasurer, Young launched the Colorado SecureSavings program, which will help one million Coloradans save for retirement, while saving taxpayers $18 billion in safety net services in the next ten years.
He also launched the CLIMBER small business loan program to make $250 million available for small businesses to recover from the pandemic. Additionally, Dave financed $645 million to the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program , which awards grants to K-12 schools to support our students while stimulating local economies.
Colorado State Public Employee Retirement Association (CSPERA) pension fund has increased by $13 billion in the past four years under Treasurer Young’s leadership. Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic and the resulting economic downturn, Dave has ensured the safety and security of Colorado Taxpayer dollars.
