The deadline we’re facing tonight is very, very real — and it’s our most important one yet. At midnight, we’ll close the books on our last FEC deadline before Election Day, and our fundraising numbers will become public.

There are no do-overs and no deadline extensions. Whatever we’ve raised by midnight tonight is what we have to report to the Federal Election Commission.

Everyone will be looking through our reports to see if we really have what it takes to keep North Carolina’s 2nd District blue and protect our Democratic majorities in Congress. I want folks, especially Republican leaders and right-wing megadonors, to see the strong, dedicated grassroots team that powers this campaign.
