Asking for money is my least favorite part of running for office.

But unfortunately there’s no way around it when your opponent is far-right Senator Mike Lee, a two-term incumbent who is swimming in cash from corporate PACs and special interest groups.

So when my team broke the news that we needed to raise another $150,000 to stay on track to replace Senator Lee — my heart sank. That’s A LOT for an independent campaign like ours that relies on small-dollar donations.
