This past weekend, Jamaal embarked on the first leg of a country-wide tour to meet with constituents and urge them to use the power of their voice and vote at the polls.

But before you do, Jamaal's tour isn't over — in fact we still have a ways to go with a stop in Wisconsin at the end of the week. Which means we still need to secure the funding and support to keep this journey going strong. Jamaal knows that the most powerful way to enact change in our communities is by going out and speaking directly to those who are most affected by the federal policies created in Washington.
By building out democratic power and grassroots-community from the ground up, our impact at the polls will be unbeatable. But it takes a village to build up the resources, tools, and people-power. And the only way we'll see victory is by encouraging everyone around us to use their voice at the polls.
This is what it looks like when our representatives truly care about the people they represent. Jamaal knows that the most powerful people in our country aren't the ones in office, it's the people who vote. Because we've shown time and again that when we vote, we win.
