With just over three weeks left until the midterm elections, to say there’s a lot going on would be an understatement. So I’m going to make this important note as short as I can — and I think I can do it in six sentences. Go ahead and humor me by reading them all. Here we go:
1. After Donald Trump’s attempted coup failed in January 2021, he and his allies set out to devise a new plan — one that would ensure a second Trump victory in 2024.
2. The key to that plan is about to come to fruition, with handpicked, election-denying secretary of state candidates leading in the polls in the key battlegrounds of Arizona and Nevada.
3. I started The American SOS Project for the sole purpose of defeating those candidates, who are fully prepared to hand over their states’ electoral votes to Trump — the will of the people be damned.
4. Thanks to this incredible team of Americans committed to saving the future of our democracy, we’ve raised enough over the past six months to make serious investments in Nevada and Arizona — but this entire movement is up against the MAGA machine, which has $100 million ready to blanket the airwaves any moment.
5. Coming up on Wednesday at midnight, we’re facing our final FEC fundraising deadline of the election, which means it’s our one last shot before Election Day to show the world we have the resources we need to fight against Trump and his cronies.
6. I’m coming to you for help because I know you care about this as much as I do: Will you chip in right now (even if you’ve already given, and I know that so many of you have!) and help push this movement to victory on November 8th?
