We’re about halfway through the month, so as Campaign Treasurer, I’ve been checking in on our numbers to make sure we’re on track to reach our final fundraising targets of the election.

I’m proud of the campaign we’ve built together here in Texas, and it’s been amazing to see it really come alive in the final weeks before the election as we work together to re-elect a strong, effective leader in TX-07.  We have events planned nearly every day between now and November 8 to get out the vote — for Lizzie and for Democrats running in Harris County, Fort Bend County, and statewide.  With 70% of voters new to the district, we have a lot to do and a lot planned.

Your contributions make it possible.  They keep our TV ad on the air for people across the Houston media market to see — that’s about 2.5 million homes and voters in 23 counties getting the message to get out and vote.  They also put mail in more than 100,000 mailboxes.  They put ads in the newspapers and online.

And they fuel our organizing efforts to knock on doors and show up where voters and potential voters are with a compelling message about the stakes in this election.  With a little more than three weeks left to go, they make all the difference.
