I wanted to make sure you saw our team’s email from yesterday, friend. It’s a bit longer than what we normally send, but I believe it’s incredibly important that you read it to understand what we’re up against.
Today’s GOP has been taken over by extremists who want to force their ideals onto the American people. Ideals that most Americans really don’t agree with. National abortion bans, gutting Social Security, and attacking the rights of trans kids aren't what folks want their government to focus on.
Democrats in the House have proven that they are problem solvers and will continue to work FOR the American people, not AGAINST them, if you help us maintain our House majority.
So please, pitch in to Colin’s campaign today and let’s go win this. [[link removed]]

We don’t need to explain to you how important it is that Democrats win the midterms and protect our majorities in November. You know what’s at stake.
These past two years have shown us that Democrats can and will use our majorities to fight for the American people. But we’ve also seen that the current Republican Party isn’t just opposed to everything Democratic leaders do, they’re also opposed to most things that everyday Americans want and need from their representatives.
Senator Rick Scott announced a plan to gut Social Security and Medicare if Republicans take power – threatening benefits that seniors earn through a lifetime of work.
Governor Ron DeSantis stated that part of House Republicans' agenda, if they take back the House, would include attacks on transgender kids and what can be taught in schools.
Finally, a Republican-dominated Supreme Court voted to overrule Roe v. Wade and opened the door to dozens of states, including Texas, to implement the most draconian laws that criminalize women’s healthcare and encroach on their fundamental right to privacy. Now, it is the position of the Republican Party that, if given the power, they will ban abortion nationwide.
Extreme Republicans have taken a rightward lurch since Donald Trump took office in 2016, but it’s not just Trump that’s to blame. House, Senate, and State GOP leaders have demonstrated that they will attack the privileges and freedoms that Americans hold most dear just to appeal to the fringes of their political base– that is why they cannot be allowed to take power in 2023.
Will you rush in a donation to Colin Allred’s campaign today to help ensure that Democrats maintain our House majority and stop anti-choice Republicans from enacting their radical agenda? [[link removed]]
