Election Day is just over 3 weeks away!

Friend,

The General Election is just over 3 weeks away – it’s time to get ready to vote!

On Tuesday, November 8th, polls will be open in New York, and my name will be on the ballot on both the Democratic and the Working Families Party lines. After months of meeting New Yorkers at greenmarkets, subway stations, and street corners, I hope I’ve earned your vote in my re-election campaign as your State Senator.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind as you make your plan to vote.

October 14th — Voter Registration Deadline

Check your voter registration here.

October 24th — Last day to apply for an absentee ballot online or through the mail

October 29th through November 6th — Early Voting

November 7th — Last day to request an absentee ballot in person

With the redistricted maps, District 26 is gaining some new neighbors, and I’m excited to have met with many of you over the past months and years to learn more about what matters most to you.

We’ve accomplished so much over the years together: securing a record-breaking $1.2b for CUNY this past year alone; turning on our City’s speed cameras 24/7 for the first time ever; passing landmark legislation to end workplace harassment, and so much more. But we still have so much work to do — and I can’t do it on my own. To fight spiraling healthcare costs, to keep our kids safer on the internet, and to keep fighting for the community we share, I need your support.

The most important thing you can do is easy, quick, and simple: vote!

Make your plan to vote today, and remind your friends and family to do the same: don’t let how hectic life can get keep you or your loved ones from turning out Nov 8!

Thank you for your work in all we have achieved together. Onwards!

Andrew
