Today, the January 6th House Committee is holding their final hearing to investigate what happened that fateful day.

Uncovering the truth and holding those responsible accountable is the only way to move forward and ensure that an attack like this never happens again. But my Republican opponent Chuck Edwards doesn’t see it that way.

Just like Mark Meadows and Madison Cawthorn, Edwards refuses to acknowledge the events on January 6th as an insurrection. To call it anything but is a disgrace to the lives that were lost, the countless others who were injured, and the stain it left on our nation.

The last thing our district needs is another politician who doesn’t take our democracy or the attempt to overturn the results of an election seriously.

We need a representative who will not ignore the erosion of our democratic institutions. In Congress, I will continue to stand up for free and fair elections, but I can’t do it without you.
