And we have tools to help!

John,

We believe voting is the most important thing you can do for the environment and our democracy! We are in another critical election season, and we want to make it easy to vote for candidates who share your environmental values and stand on the side of democracy.

Conservation Votes PAC, established by the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV), and the North Carolina Chapter of the Sierra Club have partnered to create a Green Voter Guide, which tells you which candidates received pro-environment endorsements.

The guide includes information on each candidate, a link to their website, and the ability to make a donation directly to each candidate. When you make a contribution to a candidate through the Green Voter Guide, it lets them know that you care about the environment.

You can also find out more information about how and where to vote! The Voter Registration deadline for Election Day voting is tomorrow, Friday, October 14th. But One Stop Early Voting will start on October 20th, and you can register and vote at those sites from October 20th till 3p on Saturday, November 5th. Election Day is November 8th.

Another great tool to help you vote for legislators who will prioritize protecting our environment, our communities, and our democracy is NCLCV's Legislative Scorecard. The scorecard lets you know exactly where your Representative and Senator stand. For the first time, we include votes that weakened or stood up for our democracy.

Please go vote. It's a great way to protect the environment.
