🚨Breaking News alert, John.🚨 A Connecticut jury just awarded $965 million in damages to the families and survivors of the Sandy Hook massacre in a defamation lawsuit against conspiracy superspreader Alex Jones. After years of harassment and malicious attacks by Alex Jones, these families deserve this and more for their stolen children and the emotional pain they've suffered. This verdict is a warning to those who lie about the real damage and trauma of mass shootings. This is a BIG step forward for survivors and everyone in the gun violence prevention movement who fought long and hard to bring justice to the victims’ families and loved ones. It’s also a major win for holding bad actors like Jones accountable for profiting off the spread of misinformation and threatening survivors who speak out. Nearly 10 years after Sandy Hook, we are still fighting to protect our children and pass stronger gun safety legislation at the federal level.
