John Lira for Congress

Folks — As a former United States Air Force officer that served as the United States Selective Service System Director in the Obama administration, I’m whole-heartedly supporting John Lira in the race for the Texas 23rd Congressional District.

Before I tell you more about why I support John, will you rush a contribution to his campaign to make sure the people of TX-23 have a real champion fighting for them in Congress?

For those less familiar with John, here is what you need to know.

1. John is a former United States Marine who has dedicated his life to serving and protecting our country.

2. He supports safe gun ownership, LGBTQ rights, reproductive rights, and voting rights for all. Endorsed by Beto O’Rourke, VoteVets, Common Defense, and unions in TX-23, John wants to make our schools safer for our children and support veteran families.

3. John was on the ground with Uvalde families in the aftermath of the tragic school shooting. His opponent, Tony Gonzales, is on record saying that he checked in with the NRA before voting on gun legislation in the House.

4. Despite Tony Gonzales having a campaign war chest of nearly $2 million, John has the momentum on the ground in this race.

The truth is, John is the servant leader we need more of in Congress — unlike Tony Gonzales who only serves himself and his special interests. So, will you chip in $3 to give John’s campaign the resources he needs to beat Tony in November?
