BEYOND TROPHY HUNTING

6pm Thursday 15 December 2022

Royal Geographical Society

London SW7 2AR

Tickets £22/£15 students

Hello John,

As a Born Free supporter, I’d like to invite you personally to join me for Beyond Trophy Hunting, an important public discussion to be held at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society in London on the 15th of December 2022.

BOOK YOUR TICKET FOR THIS IMPORTANT DISCUSSION TODAY

Beyond Trophy Hunting will explore viable alternatives to trophy hunting that can secure meaningful jobs, enhance economic benefits, and help people and wild animals to co-exist.

Trophy hunting is a deeply controversial business. Proponents argue that it supports conservation and delivers benefits to local communities, as well as preserving land for wildlife. Detractors argue that it is unethical, that the financial benefits to local communities are miniscule, that most jobs are low level and poorly paid, and the conservation dividend is marginal.

These arguments have been going on for years. Born Free wants to break the cycle and explore better ways of delivering for people and wildlife.

Please book your tickets now to join me and a panel of experts* at this landmark event.

I really look forward to seeing you there!

Will Travers OBE

*Born Free will shortly be announcing the names of the world-class experts who will be on our Panel.
