Voters are heading to the polls, John. And in this election, it’s not just the governorship on the line – the future of our entire democracy is on the ballot.

And my team just let me know that the GOP is dumping more than $6 million dollars into this race to defeat me and buy this seat for my right-wing opponent. And take it from me – this isn't New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles – that kind of money couldan absolutely swing this race.

But here’s some good news: That also means your donation – every dollar you give now – goes further to help me win reelection and keep New Mexico blue. 

Earlier today, I set out to raise $100,000 by midnight tonight. And as of this afternoon, we're falling about $16,000 short. And with recent polling showing that this race is a dead heat, this goal is a must-hit. That's why I must ask:
