Dave has accomplished a lot in his first term:
He launched the Colorado SecureSavings program which will help one million Coloradans prepare for retirement, while saving taxpayers $18 billion in safety net services over the next ten years.
Dave launched the CLIMBER small business loan program to make $250 million available for small businesses to recover from the pandemic.
He also financed $2.4 billion for infrastructure and road and bridge repairs to ensure Coloradans can travel safely throughout the state.
His vision for the next four years is simple:
PROTECT TAXPAYER DOLLARS. PROTECT COLORADO’S ECONOMY. PROTECT PERA.
The number one responsibility of the Treasurer is to ensure that taxpayer dollars are invested safely, transparently and in a way that helps all Coloradans. Dave has done this exceptionally well in his first term and will continue to make sure not a single penny of taxpayer money is lost.
Dave will also highlight his plans to protect Colorado’s economy and maintain the recovery we are currently experiencing. Inflation is high and costs are rising, which is why Dave helped put $750 back into every Coloradans pocket months before they were scheduled to arrive.
Finally, Dave will continue to protect the pensions of Colorado’s Public Employee Retirement Association, which thousands of first responders and teacher’s rely upon for retirement security. Public employees are the backbone of Colorado and we must do everything we can to protect their retirement savings.
