Folks —

More than ever before, mental health is a hot-button issue. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the mental health crisis for our students, educators, and families — and its impact is still felt today.

If someone hasn’t said it to you today, I’ll say it — your mental health matters. Too often, mental health is neglected in favor of productivity and profits, leaving our loved ones behind. Mental health care saves lives, and we need to prioritize it as we build on our vision of a better, more equitable country.

It’s past time to secure accessible mental health care for all. That’s why I helped pass the Mental Health Matters Act a few weeks ago to invest in mental health resources in schools and ensure everyone can get the help they need.

Now that the Mental Health Matters Act has passed the House, it’s critical that the Senate knows the urgency of this issue.

Our voices are stronger together. Please join me in calling on the Senate to swiftly pass the Mental Health Matters Act , because everyone deserves access to mental health care. [[link removed]]

We work hard to take care of our communities and contribute to our greater society. By increasing access to mental health resources, we are better equipped to care of ourselves, too.
