Since launching his quixotic 2020 campaign, Gov. Inslee has racked up a
$4 million bill for his security detail. He's also refused to
reimburse the state - and by extension, its taxpayers. Should his
constituents really be paying for him to travel around the country and
campaign for a nomination he'll never get? At this point, it's just
a taxpayer-funded vanity project.

Nebraska GOP Governor Pete Ricketts Honors Cornhusker Veterans With New
Initiative

What Happened:

Gov. Ricketts launched a new initiative aimed at preserving stories from
Nebraskan veterans. The goal? Make sure their bravery and sacrifice are
never forgotten.

Why You Should Care:

Honoring veterans ALWAYS matters. With this program, volunteers will
interview veterans and record their stories. They'll then be archived
at the Library of Congress as part of its Veterans History Program. This
initiative is an important part of Gov. Ricketts commitment to
prioritizing Nebraska's veterans.

So far, 2,000 stories from veterans in the Cornhusker State have already
been collected - expect that number to grow!
