This course is led by a group of experts who have been working on these topics for decades:

  • Renowned peace and anti-war scholar, Dr. Patrick Hiller
  • Prominent anti-war activist, author, and campaigner, Siana Bangura
  • Noted disarmament, arms control, and nuclear non-proliferation expert, Yasmin Goecke
  • International peacebuilder, Raymond Hyma
  • Distinguished peace educator and networker, Ellis Brooks
  • Experienced issue-based community organizer, Greta Zarro

These hosts/facilitators will help you to explore weekly topics through an online chat room. Weekly content includes a mix of text, images, video, and audio. You can also participate in three 1-hour optional zoom calls which are designed to facilitate a more interactive, real-time, and experiential learning experience.

War isn’t going away on its own. That’s why we created War Abolition 201 to lay out the frameworks, processes, tools and institutions necessary for ending war and establishing a just and sustainable peace.
