Team, earlier this week I let you in on the details of our midterm fundraising budget and how much we need to raise to keep our grassroots work going. Today, I want to tell you a little more about why we’re raising these funds and what we’re spending them on:

Our first target in this election is Jim Marchant, Nevada Republican secretary of state candidate. He’s also the ringleader of the “America First Secretary of State Coalition” -- a group of extreme right-wing Trump acolytes who parrot lies about election fraud, continue to deny (without evidence) Joe Biden’s 2020 win, and who are dead set on taking over election systems in battleground states.

Defeating Jim Marchant will protect Nevadans from imposing his ultra-MAGA ideology on their free and fair elections, but it’ll also send a message to the rest of Trump’s “America First” cronies that Americans will not stand for their conspiracies and lies.

The problem is the most recent poll has Marchant in the lead by 4%.

That’s why we’re announcing a six-figure investment to reach voters in Nevada to make sure they know that Marchant is planning to overhaul their elections and help Trump steal the 2024 race. With less than five weeks to go in the midterms, every single dollar we raise is going to make a difference in the effort to chip away at Marchant’s lead in the polls and defeat candidates like him.

The more we can raise in these final weeks, the more we’re able to invest into critical voter communication -- and if this team continues to step up, we’ll also be able to expand our plan into other key states. Here’s just some of what your contribution to The American SOS Project can fund:

- Targeted digital ads served to persuadable voters in key precincts
- Voter education ads that highlight the stakes of this race
- Streaming TV content sharing important information about the candidates on the ballot
- Direct voter contact during the final days and weeks of the midterms

We’re going to do as much as we possibly can to defeat Marchant in Nevada and expand our program to other crucial battlegrounds -- but you’re an indispensable part of this plan, and we can’t get it done with your help.
