Friend, as we advance into this new chapter of the campaign, I'm thankful for every Illinoisan who's joined the fight.

Now, if you're ready like I am to elect pro-choice Democrats committed to equity, progress, and democracy in the face of the radical Republican Party, I'm asking you to take a stand.

Add your name to endorse Juliana and my campaign and pledge to elect Democrats in your community:

Back when we first took office, we inherited a government in distress, mismanaged by a Republican governor who was a cheerleader for Trump and actively undermining our state.

I promised I'd be a cheerleader for our state because I love Illinois. And today, I'm so proud of what we've achieved by putting working families first.

  • We brought down the cost of health care while expanding access, and enshrined the right to abortion into state law before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
  • We enacted four consecutive balanced budgets and paid down debt, allowing us to fund critical services at record levels, from educating our kids to providing taxpayers with critical relief.
  • We fixed thousands of roads and bridges in disrepair, upgraded railways and ports, modernized our schools, and put in place America's most ambitious climate agenda.
  • We raised the minimum wage to $15 per hour and have made smart investments in technology and innovation to create jobs across the state.

But as much as this election will be won by magnifying the progress we've delivered for families, we also can't lose sight of the serious threat represented by my opponent, Darren Bailey.

Let me be clear: Donald Trump's hand-picked candidate — someone who sides with the insurrectionists at the Capitol, asserts that the 2020 election was stolen, and says women and their doctors should be jailed for having an abortion, even in cases of rape and incest — doesn't deserve to come anywhere near our state's highest office.

The MAGA Republicans like Bailey want to take us backward, to make us feel alone in a struggle we're all facing together. Amid a right-wing assault on our most fundamental rights, I'm counting on your help to keep moving Illinois forward.

I'll ask one more time: Will you click here to support me for Governor, support Juliana Stratton for Lt. Governor, and pledge your support for Democrats down the ballot in the general election?

It's time to defend all that we've gotten done so that we can make further progress for the working families of our state.

Let's go get 'em,

JB
