Biden Hands Ukraine Another $625 Million In Weapons

After speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky on Tuesday, the White House revealed President Biden has dolled out another $625 million in weapons to aid Ukraine. Biden will justify this new cash dump by citing last week’s Russian annexation of four provinces in south east Ukraine.

Maine grants religious schools leave to apply for state- sponsored tuition reimbursement amid Religious Freedom Debate

The state of Maine has moved to allow religious schools to apply for tuition reimbursement through the state’s tuition funding program for areas that have no public high schools. The move comes after the United States Supreme Court determined that Maine cannot deny assistance to religious schools solely because of their faith convictions.

Sen. Rick Scott Predicts Midterm Wins

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday morning. While Senator Scott was focused on providing an interview about hurricane relief efforts, anchor Chuck Todd pressed him on the midterm elections next month. Chuck Todd also pressed Senator Scott on abortions. The midterm elections are a mere 36 days out. All eyes are on the GOP and Republicans flipping the Senate.
