Candidate Endorsement Meeting

There will be a special election for Minnesota House District 60A on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 with a primary on Tuesday, January 21th, 2020. Twin Cities DSA is conducting a process to determine if the chapter will endorse a candidate. There are twelve candidates running in the DFL primary. The Electoral Branch is holding a meeting to determine whether we will endorse any of the candidates who are seeking the TCDSA endorsement.

Interested candidates and their questionnaire responses will be posted on the afternoon of Sunday, December 29th and can be found here: [link removed]

The general meeting will present an opportunity for candidates to address the members and members may ask the candidates questions. We encourage all voting members to attend the meeting so they can cast an informed decision about whether to endorse a candidate.

We’re hoping to make this vote the chapter’s first official use of online voting! Depending on the service chosen, members in good standing will be sent a link to vote at the address they used to sign up for DSA when the meeting starts (Backup paper ballots will be available at the meeting as well).
