But first, I want to take a moment to make sure you know why we are so passionate about electing a nurse.

You see, nurses solve problems every day. When things go wrong, they don't give up or tap out; they face the challenge head-on with creative solutions. And the problems that nurses face are never cut and dried. They manage complex and competing needs – a single patient could easily have three different diagnoses and half a dozen prescriptions.

Nurses interact with huge teams – and they have to learn how to work with some pretty big egos. But throughout this whole process, they always keep the patient's well-being as their number one priority. A nurse is your most attentive ally and fiercest advocate. They put caring for you above everything else.

Any of this sounding similar to another job?

To be effective leaders for their constituents, senators need all of these same skills: Navigating intricate networks of stakeholders, solving hairy problems, and all the while keeping those they took an oath to serve front and center. But right now, far too many of our leaders in Washington lack these essential abilities that come as second nature to nurses like Trudy.

That's why we're so excited about electing Trudy this November. But the GOP is spending big to keep this seat red and make sure Trudy never gets to Washington. To defeat our far-right opponent, we need your help.
