One of Maura’s favorite parts of campaigning is traveling to different communities and talking with people like you. When people share their stories and concerns with us, it has a direct impact on how Maura leads.

As you might have seen in our most recent ad, when Maura first ran for office in 2014, she promised she wouldn’t shy away from tough issues. As she traveled across the state, people began sharing stories of their experiences with the opioid epidemic and its devastating impact on their communities.

They inspired her to make that a top priority, and she stayed true to her original promise. She sued Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family, and worked as part of a team that delivered hundreds of millions of dollars back to our state for prevention, harm reduction, treatment and recovery efforts.

As we criss-cross the state and build our campaign for Governor, Maura’s approach remains the same. We want to understand what challenges you’re facing so we can map out our plans and ensure our next Governor is focused on the issues that matter most to you.
