Hi there,
We are officially through the final end-of-quarter deadline of the 2022
election season, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for
bringing our campaign to this moment.
Throughout my years in public service, I’ve learned the importance of a
strong grassroots movement during these high-pressure moments. This Senate
campaign is the culmination of my career working for Vermonters, and this
movement we’ve built together is among the strongest I’ve ever seen.
Because of you, this
people-powered coalition, and the dedication you’ve shown to winning this
election, we’re on course to win this election in November. That’s big for
Vermont and the working families we’re fighting for—and it’s also big for
the country. We are doing our part in Vermont to keep this seat blue and
protect our Democratic majority in the Senate so we can keep advancing our
progressive agenda.
This journey has come with its own unique challenges, but not once have we
backed down, and I’m humbled by the dedication and commitment you’ve shown
to our team and our progressive future. Now, just 38 days stand between us
and Election Day, and there’s still plenty of work to be done in the
leadup to November 8.
We’ll be knocking doors, making calls, and giving it all we’ve got to win
and protect our democracy from Mitch McConnell and the GOP. Experts are
still calling the Senate a toss-up with just weeks to go, and we’re not
taking anything for granted. You can rest assured I’m not stopping
until the very last polling place closes—and I hope you’ll stay with me
and the rest of Team Welch until the end.
