Dear john,

I hope you and your loved ones are doing well as we start a new month. If you celebrated Rosh Hashanah this past week, I pray that your celebrations were joyous, and that your new year is happy and sweet! Here are a few updates from Washington this week:

Celebrating the World Series in Our Nation's Capital

Our defending World Series champions, the Atlanta Braves, were welcomed to the White House this week for a celebration honoring their historic victory. As we look ahead to October, I hope they'll be welcomed back to the White House again as back-to-back champions!

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!

Honoring Those Who Served

The October 10th application deadline for my upcoming Vietnam War Pinning Ceremony is fast approaching. If you are a Vietnam War veteran or an immediate family member, please consider applying to participate in this ceremony. Supporting Those Who Want to Serve

For students who wish to attend a military service academy, the Sixth District Service Academy Nomination portal is closing soon! All applications and three reference letters must be submitted to our office no later than 11:59PM on Sunday, Oct. 16th, 2022. For more information on that process, please click here.
