Republican party committees are bragging about recent record fundraising hauls. Aided by big-money donors and Trump riling up his base, they're stockpiling cash to protect vulnerable incumbents like Roger Williams.

What they don't get is that they can't buy their way out of this one. Roger Williams' extremist policy priorities -- like tax cuts for multinational corporations, unfettered access to weapons of war, and kicking millions off of their healthcare coverage -- are unpopular in Texas. And people here in District 25 are ready for change.

The highest dollar special interest donors may not be with us, but the people are, and there’s strength in numbers. If 100 people who read this email each pitch in $25, we'll be well on our way to hitting our end-of-year goal and giving Julie the resources needed to reach new voters.
