Here’s the work your contribution is funding:

 1. We’re just 38 days out from the midterm elections: Our MAGA opponent
hasn’t wasted any time spreading lies and disinformation about our
movement and our Congresswoman — from placing a massive billboard
touting “#OustAOC” above an overpass in Queens, to allying with
special interests to back her campaign. We need the resources to fight
back against this disinformation now.

 2. Building resources to make local and community-focused impact: From
successfully stopping a fracked-gas power plant in Queens to helping
Starbucks workers in New York unionize for the first time, Alexandria
has always been laser-focused on improving the lives of working
people.

 3. Standing up for accountability in Congress: Alexandria recently called
out Republicans for their latest anti-immigrant publicity stunt, and
called out her male colleagues during a hearing for their gross
mistreatment of a female witness.

But, Alexandria can’t do this work alone. She needs a movement alongside
her. And when we’re able to post strong fundraising numbers during big
moments like this last end-of-quarter before an election, we can carry out
our full strategy to expand our movement, elect more progressive leaders
like Alexandria, and keep her in Congress fighting for us all.
