Dear john,

We have had another wonderful few weeks serving our constituent bosses in Texas's fourth! Take a look through our newsletter below to see what we've been up to!

If you have any questions, or need help with a federal agency, please don't hesitate to contact one of YOUR offices both in district or in Washington.
Do you believe the U.S. is prepared to handle natural disasters effectively?

The Continuing Resolution
September 30th marks the end of our government's fiscal year, and once again they have gotten too close to the deadline and are risking a government shutdown, unless they pass the continuing resolution (CR) before the end of Friday. Passing a continuing resolution is lazy and bad governance. Instead of going through the standard appropriations process, Congressional Democrat's policies have kicked the can down the road.

Here are just a couple of unnecessary things they are attaching to this legislation.

While advertising they are avoiding a government shutdown, my colleagues on the other side of the aisle are quietly continuing their political charade. At the end of the day, this CR is a disservice to the American people, and I was a proud NO vote on it.

For Texas and Liberty,
Pat Fallon
Member of Congress
