Hi everyone,

I want to share something that means a lot to me.

We’re coming out with a new ad. It features Roger Brunelle, a father I met years ago, who lost his son to opioids. Stories like Roger’s are what led me to be the first Attorney General in the country to sue the billionaire Sackler family and their company Purdue Pharma.

We sued them for their role in creating the opioid crisis and profiting off the families who were hurt. There’s nothing that can replace a loved one, but you can make sure those responsible can’t ever harm someone again.

Governor is a different job than AG, but at its core, it’s about the same thing — delivering for the people of Massachusetts. Stories like Roger’s are what motivate me.
