PAWS Chicago rescue volunteers are driving vans loaded with supplies to Florida's storm ravaged Gulf Coast.

Today, PAWS Chicago volunteers are gathering emergency supplies, loading several large vans, and rushing to Florida's hurricane-ravaged gulf coast.
The goal: rescue dozens of dogs and cats displaced, injured, and traumatized by Hurricane Ian.
More than 40 homeless pets—animals already in shelters damaged by the catastrophic storm—are expected to arrive early next week at PAWS Chicago Medical Center. We empty the shelters so our partners can focus on saving animals who have been displaced by the storm.
We need your help today.
We’re accepting emergency supplies today (Friday, September 30) from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m at the PAWS Chicago Medical Center. Needed supplies include bottled water, pet food, towels, cleaning supplies, leashes, and collars. These items will be transported by van when volunteers drive to Florida to pick up pets.

In the middle of the chaos and destruction, innocent animals are suffering and in danger.
Your generosity supports the costs associated with sending our volunteer vans to Florida for the rescue, and then rehabilitating the pets at the PAWS Chicago Medical Center, the country’s most advanced hospital for homeless pets. Each pet will be given complete medical care, vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter surgeries and other treatments as needed.
